Our mission, vision, and the team behind our work
Our Story
Founded in 2010, Sachi Foundation began as a grassroots initiative in Wakiso District, Uganda. What started with supporting 15 orphans has grown into a multi-sectoral development organization impacting thousands of lives annually.
2010
Foundation Established
Started with education support for 15 vulnerable children in Wakiso.
2013
First Vocational Program
Launched skills training for single mothers and youth in tailoring and carpentry.
2016
Health Services Begin
Introduced mobile clinics, reproductive health sessions, and hygiene education.
2020
COVID-19 Response
Distributed emergency food & PPE to 500+ vulnerable families across 6 parishes.
Today
Ongoing Impact
Running 15+ programs across education, health, shelter, and livelihoods.
